South west facing Villa Mandelina is a luxury spacious stone farmhouse restored by the owners (who also own Villa Maslina) to make a fabulous holiday Villa. Spread over three stories each room is unique in design and furnishing with parts of the building dating back 300 years. It is a great place for groups of friends or large families with 3 bedrooms having a private courtyard and 3 on the top floor. The huge contemporary living space has terraces which overlook the private flat deck pool (8 meters x 4 meters) which is surrounded by sun terraces and is adjacent to a BBQ kitchen and al fresco dining table for 12. A vaulted terrace offers shade with views of the pool and garden. A games room has table tennis , darts and ball games. Secure parking for 5 cars and a large garden add to the sense of space. A footpath leads down to the beach (15 min walk) and the shops and beaches are 5 mins by car.

Dining room off the kitchen is a huge space w/ stone walls, table to seat 12 opening out onto a pool facing terrace w/ sea views. The cosy sitting room has Sat TV, DVD player, dresser with books, board games etc., double doors to a south facing terrace.
Large hall and beamed vaulted landing. Ground floor level vaulted sitting room with stone pillars open to the pool area with loungers, comfy seating, table and chairs great for card games!

The ground floor bedrooms are all OK for guests with mobility problems and from the courtyard it is level access to the pool, summer kitchen and covered outside dining and sitting rooms. Stairs access the main kitchen and living rooms. It is level access from the car park to the ground floor bedrooms. We would say it would be OK for people who could use the stairs with help but if you wanted to everything you need is on one level except the TV.
The grounds are a feature of the Villa. A large flat deck Private swimming pool 8m x 4m with a weeping wall and two fountains it is surrounded by sun terraces that are south west facing and have sun all day. There is ample sun loungers and umbrellas. Adjacent to the pool is a built in BBQ with a fully equipped summer kitchen (hob, sink, fridge work tops) and a huge wooden dining table to seat 12 / 14. This area is shaded and overlooks the pool. On the far side of the pool is a covered games room with table tennis, darts etc. Opening directly from the Villa overlooking the pool is a large stone arched sitting room open on all sides and furnished with comfy seats and loungers.
The entrance gates lead off from the road into a car parking area for 5 cars, securely fenced from the Villa garden. The grounds extend to the side with a wild lawn and almond trees and below the Villa is a small Olive grove. The whole property is safely fenced. Although in a Village setting it is not overlooked
Villa Mandelina is a restoration project that has taken the owner Hugh nearly a year to complete. The stone built farmhouse parts of which date back 300 years has been given a new lease of life with original features carefully renovated and a new living floor added to make a huge holiday villa of nearly 4000 sq ft. All the furnishings have been chosen to compliment the Villa and it has a fresh contemporary feel. The Villa has 3 floors with 3 large en suite bedrooms off a sun trap stone courtyard from where stairs lead to the main entrance hall. Opening off the hall the dining room has floor to ceiling windows to capture the fantastic view also on this floor are the kitchen and sitting room. Stairs lead to 3 bedrooms on the top floor all with sea views. A large terrace outside the dining room has steps to the pool and garden. The pool is flat deck and fenced from the Villa and BBQ area. Games include Table Tennis, Badminton and a Basket ball net.Wireless Internet throughout the Villa.

We charge £1500 for July and August up to 10 guests; extra guests £100 per person per week and £1200 for May June and September up to 14 guests.

About the area
Villa Mandelina is 5 minutes in the car and a 15 mins downhill walk on a footpath to our nearest beach - Plavi Horizonte a safe sandy beach great for children with a cafe and ice creams. Two Sunbeds & Umbrella with a small charge per day. The Peninsular has other local beaches at Oblatno (very cool) Mirista (pebbly,good restaurant) Zigi (young crowd plus yachts) Zanije (catch a boat to the Blue Cave plus loads of cafes and good fish). There are lots of other coves and smaller pebbly beaches.
Under construction 10 mins drive not for 2013! Golf driving range 10 minute drive open 2013 with free driving and drinks on a Monday ( lets hope it continues for 2014 !)

Bogisici has no facilities other than 2 churches. Bread can be ordered for delivery. The nearest shops are in Radovici (5 mins) Deli,general store,fruit and veg stall,Post Office,Shops for beach toys and games, cafes selling pizza, pasta and grilled meat,several bars,doctor and the tourist office kiosk. The main supermarket is Voli and that sells everything including some British brands. The meat counters are excellent and very low prices as is the wine and all fresh seasonal food. You will be surprised how cheap it is in MNE.
Banks with cash machines and for exchanging currency are in Tivat, Kotor and an ATM outside Voli.
There are restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes drive. Maestral in Krtoli does great fish on the waterfront and Astoria in Radovici has a good menu and service. In Tivat you have a huge choice from hand made pizza and pasta to fine dining at Prova. Porto Montenegro is a must for a spot of people watching and some of the longest yachts in the world spend the summer here Pier One is the place to go for good reasonably priced snacks, meals and drinks.
Without doubt number one activity is lying by the pool but if you want to explore.
A trip to Kotor and Perast is recommended for the stone architecture and winding streets grab a coffee and cake at Forza just inside the main gates or dinner at Astoria. Walk around Perast and take the boat to Our Lady of the Rock Island a local landmark.
Spend an afternoon driving around the Lustica Peninsular untouched for centuries it has winding lanes and olive groves and you can arrange to visit an olive farm and taste the produce.
Drive up the mountain road to Lovcen National Park (45 mins)
Water skiing, jet skis, sailing, hire a boat for the day( from 160e 12 person) Paragliding, wind surfing, canoeing etc.
